Lisbon Street Photo Fest – Workshop

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be heading to Lisbon this September 27–28, 2025 to take part in the Lisbon Street Photo Fest.
It’s a weekend packed with talks, photowalks and workshops held at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa , and I’m honoured to be part of it.
After the talk, the journey continues the next day with a one-day intensive workshop titled The Infraordinary: A Conceptual Approach to Street Photography. This session is limited to 10 participants and is meant to be intimate and hands‑on. We’ll spend the day thinking about the deeper layers of meaning in our work rather than technical settings. Here’s what you can expect:
Conceptual focus. We’ll discuss what lies beneath the surface of an image, how editing shapes meaning and how to develop a more intentional way of seeing . The session is inspired by Georges Perec’s call to pay attention to the overlooked and uncover the subtle narratives of the everyday .
Portfolio reviews and collective reflection. Bring a body of work—around 10–20 images either digitally or printed —and we’ll review it together. I’ll guide group discussions and portfolio critiques to help you rethink and reframe your practice.
Location. The workshop takes place at the Faculdade de Belas‑Artes da Universidade de Lisboa; room details will be shared upon registration .
This workshop is supported by Fujifilm México and is open to photographers of all levels who want to slow down and bring more intention and meaning to their street photography . Spaces are limited, so if this resonates with you, head over to the official page to reserve your spot.
