Documentation of the historic centre of Querétaro, photographed in February 2026 for Bloomberg's coverage of Mexico ahead of the country's GDP figures. The assignment records the everyday economy that tourism sustains in the city.

The colonial centre draws visitors to its churches, its plazas and its aqueduct, the city's emblem. Around those monuments runs a dense local trade: stalls of rag dolls and sweet bread, leather and textile shops, an old ice cream parlour, fruit carts and cafés with a view of the domes.
